The 112th Grey Cup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes drew an average audience of 4.02 million on television across TSN, CTV, and RDS, based on preliminary data.

That marks a 12 percent increase over last year. The Grey Cup attracted 3,385,800 average English-language viewers on television, plus 156,400 viewers on RDS for a total of 3,542,200.

TSN did not provide a breakdown in viewership by language, but it is safe to assume that French-language interest was a key driver in the growth after ratings plummeted 79.2 percent on RDS last year. In 2023, the Montreal Alouettes helped push interest in Quebec as 752,600 people watched the team win.

According to TSN, the total reach for the Grey Cup was 10 million viewers, with 4.07 million tuning in for the Machine Gun Kelly halftime show. They also announced a 27 percent growth in people streaming the game on TSN+ and 150,000 viewers on a brand new TikTok live stream.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Montreal Alouettes in the 112th Grey Cup at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg by a score of 25-17.

Trevor Harris was named Most Valuable Player after he completed 23-of-27 pass attempts for 302 yards, winning his first Grey Cup as a starter. Samuel Emilus was named Most Valuable Canadian after he made 10 catches for 108 yards, finishing only two receptions shy of tying the Grey Cup record.
