Kevin Spacey lost more than his acting career after being accused of sexual assault in 2017 — he’s now reportedly homeless.

“I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is,” Spacey, 66, said in an interview with The Telegraph, which was published on Wednesday, November 19. “I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

Despite earning a reported $500,000 per episode at the height of his House of Cards days, Spacey was near bankruptcy.

“It was discussed, but it never got to that point,” he told the outlet.

Spacey was acquitted on all charges of sexual assault, but that has not stopped him from reflecting on the person he was.

“Why was I such a good villain, why did I fit so well into a narrative that was out there? And some of those were important questions for me to ask, to take accountability for where I made mistakes,” he added. “I suppose when I look back, I wish I had spoken out sooner and allowed my voice to be heard more.”

“Even though I tried not to be a jerk, I think that to some degree I always was a jerk, because people were stopping and I always had somewhere to go, and I think I was always putting people in lanes – he wants this, she wants that, something from me,” he continued. “But now my relationship with fame is very much changed.”

The Horrible Bosses star has not lost faith in the possibility of a career resurrection, as he tells The Telegraph, “If Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan [Lowenstein, Spacey’s manager] tomorrow, it will be over.”
