According to a source who spoke exclusively to People, the couple are now “making plans for the holidays.”

Perry, for her part, is currently in the middle of her “Lifetimes” tour, which is slated to wrap up in Abu Dhabi on December 7. “Lifetimes” kicked off in Mexico City this past April and was the Smile singer’s first tour since “Witness” in 2017-2018.
“Without exaggeration, this year has been a whirlwind for her,” the insider told the publication. “She hasn’t even had time to really think about her life after the tour.”

The “Firework” singer broke up with her longtime fiancé Orlando Bloom earlier this year after nearly a decade of partnership. (The split was later described as “amicable.”) Perry and Bloom share one daughter together named Daisy.
“She’s a single mom now and a lot of that is going to come into focus next year,” the People source explained.

As for Perry’s newfound love with Trudeau? Apparently it’s “exactly what she needs right now.”
“Justin keeps making a big effort to see her and she’s excited about it,” the source said, adding that Perry “has a lot of fun with him.”
