The Dallas Wings will pick first in the WNBA Draft for the second straight year.

Dallas won Sunday’s draft lottery, earning the right to select at the top of the 2026 draft in April. They had a 42 per cent shot at winning the top pick after posting a 10-34 record in 2025.

Some of the top prospects in contention to go atop the draft include UCLA centre Lauren Betts, Spanish centre Awa Fam, TCU point guard Olivia Miles and UConn guard Azzi Fudd.

As expansion franchises, the Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire will slot in immediately behind the lottery teams with the sixth and seventh picks.

Who owns which pick will be decided by a coin flip at a later date.
