Surrounded by his children,
George Arthur Bell passed away on November 21, 2025, at Doctor Everett
Chalmers Hospital.

George was born in Prince
Edward Island on August 8,1934.

He is predeceased by his
parents Cecil and Harriott Bell; Brothers Ted, Frank, Russell and Don
Bell and sisters Gertrude and Aida Bell; wife Gertrude Bell (Brown)
and daughter Leisa Adams (Bell).

He is survived by sons Arthur
(Arlene), Mike (Karen) and Darren Bell (Ally); daughters Marilyn
Aubé (Allen) and Angie Bell and many nieces and nephews.
George was blessed with 13 grandchildren and many
great-grandchildren.

For the past five years George
resided at Hillsley Care Home where he came to love all of his
“girls,” who made him feel right at home, especially his
special friend Crystal.

George was a very hard worker
in his days and was employed with Levines Scrap Metals Ltd for many
years. He loved working on cars in his spare time, as one could tell
when driving by George’s home and seeing the yard filled
with cars that needed fixing.

Life wasn’t always
easy for George, but he always persevered. He loved going to Bingo and
would never miss a night. If you ever stopped by for a visit, then you
better have been prepared to play a game or two or three of Crib. In
the past few years, he came to love his weekly visits and crib games
with his son Mike. His kids meant a lot to him, and he talked about
each one often. He greatly loved all of his grandchildren and asked
about them frequently. He would make sure he always had toonies on him
whenever visiting his grandchildren so he could pass them out followed
by a “you go buy yourself a
treat.”

To quote George, “Let Go
and Let God”.

Family and friends are welcome
to pay their respects to the family on November 25, from 3 to 5 p.m.
at 8 Hallett Street in Fredericton.
