Ukrainian heavyweight champion and world champion Oleksandr Usyk will soon learn the name of his next challenger for the IBF title.
Although he considered retiring from boxing after his knockout victory against Daniel Dubois in July, the Ukrainian boxer continues his career.
He recently relinquished the WBO belt, thus losing his status as undisputed champion, but now a new mandatory title defense awaits him.
His next opponent will be the winner of the elimination match between Jared Anderson and Frank Sanchez.
The IBF has ordered a bout between challenger Jared Anderson and Frank Sanchez, and the winner of that bout will become Usyk’s mandatory challenger for the title.
Both fighters have only one loss in their careers. /Telegraph/
