The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra were the last in the premium series to offer firmware support for only four Android generations. A year later, Samsung introduced its enhanced policy for newer phones, which covers seven Android OS upgrades. It wasn’t retroactively applied to the S23.
In 2025, the Galaxy S23 lineup still holds up pretty well, and none of the three flagships have reached the end of support yet.
