On today’s Young and the Restless (Monday, December 1, 2025), the Abbott family scrambles to counter Victor’s latest threat, Victor enjoys watching Cane beg for mercy, and Phyllis just can’t stop herself from stirring the pot with Lily.

Jack tells his family that he is having the best Thanksgiving, but there are problems at Jabot. He explains that Cane’s AI program was stolen by Victor and is using it against Cane. He’s worried that Victor will turn the weapon on Jabot next!

Ashley asks how it works, and Jack explains that it can bleed a company dry.
Kyle and Diane note that their tech team is on it, but it’s scary.
Jack apologizes for bringing them the bad news.
CBS
Ashley won’t stand by and let this happen. She’ll talk with Victor, since she has a history with him!
Jack appreciates her offer, but Victor hates Jack more than anything else because of the way he got Nikki to get sober… Jack had taken pills and broke his own sobriety, which shocked Nikki enough to make her get clean, but Victor thought Jack had endangered Nikki and won’t forgive him for it.

The family exchange stories about how Victor had come after all of them. It’s time for them to strike back!
Ashley wonders if he has a plan.
Jack nods. He has a plan, but he’s not sure they’re going to like it! Victor is a boxer, always waiting for the perfect opportunity before he strikes. The fact that he hasn’t used the AI against them yet means that Victor doesn’t think the time is right yet… What big event coming up would Victor want to wait for to drop the bomb on them?

Billy winces. The Abbott Communications launch!
Jack nods. Exactly. Victor won’t miss out on that opportunity! Victor will think they’ve let their guard down and will try to take over Jabot at that point. They have to anticipate Victor’s next move and give him a counter-punch he never sees coming!
CBS
Ashley asks Jack to explain how he’s going to protect Jabot. There’s no known defense against the AI.
Jack says they can’t protect Jabot. The only way to stop the AI is by shutting everything down.
Everyone is shocked. He wants to shutter the business?
CBS
Jack asks them to hear him out. The company can still function while they’re offline.
Kyle thinks there will be a problem if their digital storefront goes down.
Jack says they would need to shutdown for about three months. This is a long shot, but at least they’d be protected, and Victor would be thrown off by their unexpected move!
CBS
Traci says he doesn’t have to solve this problem alone. She asks Jack what he thinks their father, John Abbott, would do. She’s not sure this is the answer… What if Jabot never recovered from the shutdown?
Ashley agrees. There must be another way!
Jack isn’t sure. He’s open to any suggestions. If there are any thumbs-downs, they’ll have to do something else. He asks everyone to vote on it.

Newman Ranch
The doorbell rings. It’s Cane Ashby, who says that he came to admit defeat. “You’ve won, Victor.”
CBS
Adam doesn’t believe him. Victor sits silent, listening.
Cane says the Newmans have won. His company is in tatters, and he’s come to offer Victor a deal; he’ll give Victor his entire empire. Victor can buy Arabesque today if there’s anything left… It’s all his!
Adam smirks. How the mighty have fallen!
CBS
Cane shrugs. He’s admitting defeat. Both Adam and Victor know that Arabesque is of value to Newman Enterprises. He knows they stole his AI software and used it against him.
Adam figures they can just wait until Arabesque bleeds out.
Victor agrees. He’s not interested in picking the bones of Arabesque.
CBS
Cane says that Arabesque could be rebuilt, and he’ll sell it for pennies on the dollar. He only wants his original investment back.
Adam doesn’t think Cane deserves that amount.
Cane says he’s not talking to Adam, he’s talking to Victor.
CBS
Adam doesn’t care. He’s happy to watch Cane grovel for the damage he’s caused.
Victor says he could rescue Cane, but he thinks he’ll just let him twist in the wind until he reaches his inevitable end!
Cane knows he hurt people and can’t take things back… He’s being destroyed by the AI that he created!
CBS
Nikki and Chelsea walk into the living room. Nikki asks what Cane is doing there.
Cane says he won’t be staying. He stopped by to offer Victor a holiday olive branch, but he can see Victor isn’t interested.
Victor stops him before he leaves. He says he’ll consider his offer and will get back to him. He wishes him a Happy Thanksgiving, and Cane leaves the house.

Nikki wants to know what that was all about.
Victor laughs. They just watched the perfect ending to the perfect day; Cane walked right into his hands, just like Victor always knew he would! He explains that Cane surrendered and asked him to bail him out. He wanted to give Cane a shred of hope so that he didn’t notice that Victor had given him just enough rope to hang himself!
Nikki thinks Cane deserves everything that’s coming to him.
Victor says when Cane is completely destroyed, they’ll swoop in and take whatever is left over! He’ll grind him to dust first!

Lily sits at the bar and talks to her kids on the phone. She tells them that it’s Thanksgiving, and their dad misses them and loves them.

The kids wonder if she was paid to say that. She laughs and tells them they’ll make Christmas happen.
Phyllis wanders down the stairs from the suites, on a video call with Daniel. She ends the call and runs into Lily in the dining room. They talk about their kids, and Phyllis tells Lily that Cane loves the kids too. She asks what Lily wants from Cane.
They argue back and forth. Phyllis thinks Lily’s dangling a carrot in front of Cane. She’s always pulling the rug out from under him, and she won’t let Lily get away with it anymore!

Lily sighs. Phyllis has no idea what she’s talking about! Cane lied to her and the kids for years and can lie in his bed, which Phyllis slithered her way into.
Phyllis says she’s supporting Cane because she believes in his vision as Dumas.
Lily thinks Phyllis wants Cane to turn to the dark side and take over the world. She rants that Phyllis and Dumas are a match made in hell, and as long as Phyllis has any influence on him, he’ll never be the kind of man that his children will love or respect!

Phyllis asks why Lily hates Cane so much.
Lily laughs. She doesn’t hate Cane! She tells Phyllis she can have Cane. She can’t believe Cane has Phyllis whispering in his ear.
Phyllis says it’s easy for Lily to look down on everyone when she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Cane worked his ass off to build his empire, and Lily wants him to just walk away from that? Did she even tell their kids to call their dad for Thanksgiving? She’s heartless!

Lily rolls her eyes. Only Phyllis would think that! She knows Phyllis will keep Cane from being the good man that he could be.
Phyllis shrugs. She thinks Cane can’t move on because he’s obsessed by his love for Lily, which she’s manipulating him with!
Cane walks into the lobby while they’re arguing. “Nobody manipulates me… Not Lily, not you… Nobody!” He asks why they’re fighting.

Lily says they weren’t fighting. She was listening to Phyllis justify her ambition and greed!
Phyllis says they were having a difference of opinion. No reason to be upset! She suggests that Lily back off.
Lily tells Cane that she thought he was scraping the bottom of the barrel with his Dumas identity, but he’s really sunk to a new low with Phyllis!
CBS
Phyllis thinks Lily is jealous of her because she did everything on her own. She never rode on her billionaire brother’s coattails!
Cane has had enough of their squabbling. He yells, “Enough!”
Lily warns him that Phyllis will be his downfall. She leaves the club.

Phyllis tells Cane that he needs to pick a side.
Cane says he has picked a side. He knows where he’s going!
