Jenna Ortega‘s latest look is all about the silhouette. The Wednesday actress walked the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival on November 28 and she opted for a sculptural LBD for the occasion.
The look was styled by Enrique Melendez, Ortega’s longtime stylist and friend, who was honored at this year’s InStyle Imagemaker Awards with an award presented by a tearful Ortega. The pair went with a glamorous black gown by Bevza, which featured a sweeping, plunging neckline with triangle criss-cross shoulders. These shoulders came to a halter in the back. The bodice, which was backless, was tailored with a cinched waist, before falling into an unusual sculptural peplum around the hips. The skirt then fell in a simple column skirt that pooled around her ankles. She finished things off with a gold snaked necklace.

Ortega is a jury member at this year’s Marrakesh Film Festival. Speaking at last night’s opening ceremony, she shared her thoughts of the rise of artificial intelligence in the entertainment industry. “We just always take things too far and I think it’s very easy to be terrified—I know I am—of deep uncertainty,” she said, per Variety, adding, “It kind of feels like we’ve opened Pandora’s box in a way.”
