Bringing the Heat hosts Trey Lyle and Tom Bowles are joined by Michael Massie to discuss the first day of the antitrust lawsuit between NASCAR and 23XI Racing/Front Row Motorsports on Dec. 1.

Massie, who was in the courtroom reporting and provides firsthand insight into the opening day of the trial. He details what he observed, from jury selection to opening statements and witness testimony as the pivotal proceedings began.

The group then breaks down the atmosphere, along with what’s at stake as the case finally enters the trial phase.

The episode also reviews the strategy for both sides, outlining how 23XI/FRM and NASCAR plan to present their cases over the coming days. Lyle, Bowles and Massie then preview day two, when Denny Hamlin’s testimony on the stand will continue.
