What does a WWE Superstar do after retiring from in-ring competition? One of them is considering shaving their head bald.
One-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions, AJ Styles, recently spoke with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes. When his “glorious hair” was brought up, Styles revealed his wife wants him to cut a few inches off right now and that when he retires, he’s considering shaving it all off.
“According to my wife, it’s going to be cut soon,” AJ Styles revealed. “Like it’s getting way too long, and she doesn’t like it. So she’s like, repeatedly telling me, I’m gonna have to cut a couple inches off. Not cut it all off now. But when retirement does finally come, that will be the first thing that goes is probably the hair.
“I’m thinking about a full shave. Just go, completely gone, all of it. But the thing is, if I want to grow out my hair after doing that, it’s gonna look really silly. There’s always that point. I mean, you think about the evolution of AJ Styles, when he started growing his hair out, it was Emo AJ Styles, it was Soccer Mom AJ Styles, and now his hair is too long AJ Styles.”
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will defend the WWE World Tag Team titles against The New Day later tonight on RAW.
