Bringing the Heat host Trey Lyle and Tom Bowles are joined by Dalton Hopkins, who was in the Charlotte, N.C., courtroom on Wednesday, Dec. 3, for day three of the antitrust lawsuit between NASCAR and 23XI Racing/Front Row Motorsports.
The podcast started with the three discussing the overall vibe of the day and the trial so far, who they believe has the advantage early on and how the jury is perceiving this case.
Hopkins then went into detail about what he witnessed on the final part of Scott Prime’s — NASCAR’s EVP and Chief Strategy Officer — testimony from 23XI/FRM attorney Jeffrey Kesler, and the cross-examination from NASCAR lawyer Lawrence Buterman.
The second and final witness of the day was Front Row Motorsports owner Bob Jenkins, who got to tell his story of starting in the sport and how his financials have been since they entered. Hopkins also discussed how Buterman may have mishandled his line of questioning with Jenkins.
