
Maj. Gen. Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, President of the World Boxing Council, Muay Thai, and President of the Asian Boxing Council, led the WBC, WBC MuayThai, and WBC Cares to deliver four large trucks of consumable goods to the “Disaster Relief Coordination Center” to overcome the flood crisis in Hat Yai, Songkhla, and the southern region. Lt. Gen. Adul Boonthamcharoen, Deputy Minister of Defense, and Director of the Disaster Relief Coordination Center, personally came to receive the delivery.
At 2:30 p.m. local time on December 3, 2025, at the Disaster Relief Coordination Center (CDC) of the National Air Force and Aviation Museum in Bangkok, Lieutenant General Adul Booncharoen, Deputy Minister of Defense, and Director of the Disaster Relief Coordination Center, arrived to receive four large trucks of consumable goods from Maj. Gen. Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, President of the WBC Muay Thai and President of the Asian Boxing Council.
They were along a team of world champions and WBC members highlighted by Oleksandr Usyk, Roberto Durán, the WBC Cares Foundation team, Miss Chris Manzur (Co-Chairwoman), Miss Jill Diamond (Co-Chairwoman), and about 50 members and family who attended the 63rd WBC Annual Convention and the 1st WBC Muaythai Convention, held from November 30th to December 5th, 2025 in Thailand.
This event helped spread the power of kindness by providing essential items to help overcome the flood crisis in Hat Yai, Songkhla, and the southern region of Thailand.
The Aid Reception and Relay Coordination Center is a central hub set up by the government to efficiently collect and forward aid from all sectors to flood victims in the southern region.
