The light heavyweight match between Jan Blachowicz and Bogdan Guskov will be part of the UFC 323 main card on Dec. 6 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Because he’s a former UFC light heavyweight titleholder, Blachowicz heads into the match as the betting favorite with -130 UFC odds. Guskov, on the other hand, is going to be the +110 betting underdog despite his current four-fight win streak.

UFC 323: Jan Blachowicz vs. Bogdan Guskov: Prediction

I predict a unanimous decision win for Guskov over Blachowicz because he’s a much younger, more explosive, and quicker fighter. Furthermore, Guskov packs power in his hands, and once he touches Blachowicz, it could spell trouble for him.

The Polish MMA superstar is nearing the end of his career at 42 and may no longer possess the same speed and movement as he did in his prime. If the old and washed version of Blachowicz shows up on fight night, it will certainly be a win for Guskov.

Blachowicz’s best path to victory is to use his grappling to try to take Guskov down. This way, he can avoid the power shots and drain significant energy out of him. Additionally, he can come up with a submission maneuver, but it’s highly unlikely to happen.

Jan Blachowicz’s Next Fight?

Blachowicz is a UFC veteran and has been with the promotion since 2014. In his last five fights, he recorded one win, three losses, and a draw. His lone victory was against Aleksandar Rakić, while his losses came against Glover Teixeira, Alex Pereira, and Carlos Ulberg, and his draw was against Magomed Ankalaev.

Bogdan Guskov’s Next Fight?

Guskov was a top prospect when he was signed by the UFC in 2023. He had a rude octagon welcome when Volkan Oezdemir submitted him, but he quickly racked up four straight wins against Zac Pauga, Ryan Spann, Billy Elekana, and Nikita Krylov.
