We’re not surprised to hear that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill got into a heated verbal altercation with someone over UFC 323 weekend … but who it was with was not on our bingo card.

New video surfacing from the weekend shows Hill threatening to hit former women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, of all people. The incident seems to happen at a UFC VIP Experience event where fans get to meet & greet with fighters.

“I’ll knock you the f–k out,” Hill warns Jedrzejczyk. “If you touch my girl I’m gonna knock you the f–k out.”

“Yeah? You will?” Joanna replies.

“Period,” Hill replied.

Security can be seen restraining Jedrzejczyk and separating her from Hill.

There’s very little context to add to this scene so far. Jedrzejczyk retired from fighting in 2022 but has been appearing at so many events lately that many hoped she might start fighting again. But we wanted Joanna “Champion” vs. Mackenzie Dern, not Joanna vs. Jamahal Hill’s girlfriend.

Jamahal Hill has nearly gotten into fights before too at the UFC PI, but never actually swung on anyone. He isn’t afraid to get down outside the cage, though. In 2023 he was arrested for domestic violence after giving his brother a Thanksgiving week beatdown.

We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about this unlikely former champ vs. former champ altercation.
