Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson and Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo have each carved out their own respective basketball careers, but it seems the two have found just as much success off the court.

Wilson and Adebayo discussed their relationship in a recent interview with Time’s Sean Gregory for Wilson’s Athlete of the Year feature, and both hinted that marriage could be on the way.

“That’s the question I need you to deliver to him!” Wilson said when asked when they are getting married. “I hope I’m not wasting my time. I hope he’s not wasting his time.”

Adebayo didn’t go into specifics about when he’ll pop the question, but said fans “will know.”

“Y’all will know, because people are nosy and they’ll look at her hands,” he said. “There you go.”

Fans figured out that Wilson and Adebayo were an item about two years ago, but Wilson revealed that the relationship started four years ago. Now, she considers Adebayo her “lift partner” and said she wants to eventually start a family.

“That is always a dream,” she said. “This is my life partner. Honestly, what on earth was my world before you? That’s how much he’s impacted my life, my family’s life.”

Wilson is coming off a tremendous campaign in which she won her fourth WNBA MVP, third Defensive Player of the Year, third WNBA championship and second Finals MVP.

Adebayo, who is coming off his third All-Star season, has had a strong start to the 2025-26 season, putting up 19.2 points and nine boards per game.

In their professional lives, Wilson and Adebayo have their sights set on a championship, but it seems before too long, they could each have a different type of ring.
