The pie shop might not be closed for long. Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller says he has a plan ready to go for a third season of the cult classic sitcom that starred Lee Pace, Kristin Chenoweth, and Anna Friel. “We have a season three pitch, and the entire cast wants to come back, and we’re hoping we get to return to them,” Fuller told ComicBook.com while promoting his movie Dust Bunny. “We just have to find somebody who wants to make it.” For those who need a refresh, Pushing Daisies followed Ned (Pace), a pie maker who has a peculiar supernatural power: if he touches a living being, it dies; if he touches something dead, it comes back to life and kills something else nearby in its place. It was basically social distancing before it became real and scary. He couldn’t even kiss his girlfriend without plastic! However, if Fuller wants any encouragement, maybe he doesn’t have to take the traditional Hollywood route. Just ask Critical Role.
