Kevin Holland ($9,300)
For the fourth time in 2025, Kevin Holland will fight in the UFC. Holland is 2-1 this year while being on a two-fight winning streak. In the previous four months, Holland has defeated Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque.
Holland has recorded 81 and 92 fantasy points during his recent win streak. He now faces another veteran in Daniel Rodriguez, who has also won two straight bouts.
In this matchup, Holland is two inches taller (6’3″ vs. 6’1″) while having a seven-inch larger standing reach (81″ vs. 74″). This will allow Holland to dictate the pace of this contest while displaying his twitchy and unpredictable style on the feet.
Max Holloway ($8,200)
Max “Blessed” Holloway has previously lost two bouts against Poirier, but he is the one defending his title. Holloway has won three of his last four fights, with his previous two victories coming via knockout.
Getting Holloway at $8,200 is an excellent play, as he is still capable of greatness when at his best. Although Holloway only finished with 33 points in his last fight against Ilia Topuria, he recorded 97-plus points in the two previous contests.
Holloway lost via unanimous decision to Poirier six years ago at UFC 236, but he did outland him in significant strikes. Since then, Holloway has gone 6-4 and has continued to evolve as a fighter. Holloway is coming off one of the greatest knockouts in his last fight at 155 pounds.
Even though Poirier has had his number, Holloway is the better striker in this matchup. Holloway averages 1.86 more significant strikes per minute (7.16 vs. 5.30) while having a 59 percent defensive rate. On the ground, Poirier lands 1.24 takedowns per 15 minutes, but Holloway has an 83 percent takedown defense. That shouldn’t be a factor in this contest, as Poirier only landed one takedown in each of their first two fights. If Holloway can keep Poirier at range while showing his elite head movement, a big performance should be doable.
Paulo Costa ($7,300)
Costa hasn’t been the most active fighter, competing only twice in the last 17 months. He has lost two straight fights and four of his previous five. However, that doesn’t tell the whole story. This is because he has fought four former UFC Champions in that span.
At 34 years old, Costa is still ranked inside the top 15 in the UFC’s middleweight division and has a big opportunity against Roman Kopylov. Kopylov has won six of his previous seven bouts but has yet to face someone like Costa.
Costa is the better all-around striker in this matchup, averaging more significant strikes (6.22 vs. 4.96) at a higher rate (58% vs. 50%) than Kopylov. If Costa can neutralize Kopylov’s takedown attacks, he should be able to find success in this fight. Costa absorbs 6.56 significant strikes per minute and must have a better defensive approach against Kopylov.
