Hong Kong’s deadliest blaze
in decades was asked by fellow victims to join a suicide pact, a counselling psychologist has revealed – a stark reflection of the mental health crisis gripping the city after the disaster.
Counselling psychologist Cheung Yim, who has been working with those affected by the Nov 26 fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, said the woman had lost both her loved ones and her home and was struggling to cope with the trauma.
