The Toronto Blue Jays continue to show that they want to follow up their near-miss in the World Series with another run at a championship.

The latest move they made was to sign star relief pitcher Tyler Rogers to a contract on Friday night.

Rogers is unlike most pitchers in baseball for multiple reasons, so here’s what you need to know.

Tyler Rogers’ twin is named Taylor. They’re both MLB relief pitchers.

Somehow, they throw almost opposite.

While Tyler has the right-handed submarine motion, Taylor throws left-handed and super over the top.

Rogers led the National League in games pitched in both 2020 and 2021.

Because of his unconventional motion, he actually puts less stress on his shoulder and elbow. It’s closer to a natural, underhand action of the arm.
