Dean Garnett knows all about going far in the PFL Europe finals.
Last year he suffered heartbreak at hands of a fellow Briton in Lewis McGrillen in the semi-finals.
Manchester’s McGrillen would go on to win the 2024 tournament while 37-year-old Garnett decided to give the belt another crack in 2025.
The Liverpool’s man perservence paid off as he secured himself a spot in the final with two solid wins.
He beat Finland’s Tuomas Gronvall by decision in July before submitting one of the tournament favourites Jan Cieplowski in September.
Garnett was the first man to inflict defeat on Poland’s Cieplowski. He faces Frenchman Baris Adiguzel tonight, who has just one loss in ten fights.
