Uncrowned has Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Paul vs. Joshua fight card on Friday night at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Jake Paul steps up to face former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight boxing match on Netflix.

Paul (12-1, 7 KOs), who is ranked as the No. 14 cruiserweight with the WBA, has defeated back-to-back former boxing world champions. He comfortably beat a 58-year-old Mike Tyson in November 2024 on Netflix’s boxing debut and most recently outpointed a 39-year-old Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. this past June.

Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) is one of the most decorated heavyweight boxers of this era. An Olympic champion, he outweighed Paul by nearly 27 pounds at Friday’s official weigh-ins. Joshua hasn’t fought since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title in September 2024. “AJ” underwent elbow surgery earlier this year and thus was forced to take time off to recover.

After working with Ben Davison for the past three fights, Joshua has left Davison’s setup in Harlow, Essex and joined Oleksandr Usyk’s training team with Iegor Golub in Valencia, Spain. Golub will be in Joshua’s corner for the first time on Friday.

The Paul vs. Joshua prelims begin at 5 p.m. ET and can be watched on Uncrowned here.

The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix, with main event ring walks expected around 10:30 p.m. ET.

Silva competed in an exhibition boxing match with Chael Sonnen in May 2024 — which appeared more like a sparring session. Despite it feeling like Silva was holding back in the exhibition, it was clear to see his skills were still very much intact.

When Woodley faced off against Paul the first time around, he was outboxed in the early rounds but came to life after hurting Paul in the fourth, while Paul struggled with the defensive skills presented by Silva in their fight.

Silva appears to be a more talented boxer than Woodley, but Woodley is closer to his physical prime and has the advantage in speed and power. Woodley struggles with distance and has better success at mid- and close range. As he showed against Paul, one of Silva’s biggest assets is how well he can fight at long range. In that fight, Paul was forced to come forward and try to back up Silva.

I expect Silva to outbox Woodley over the six-round distance, but with Silva’s age, it is not clear how much he will have regressed since his last fight, so Woodley is a very live underdog.

Pick: Silva

Ex-UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley clash in a 195-pound catchweight contest over six rounds.

Silva, 50, is a UFC Hall of Famer who owned the middleweight championship from 2006 to 2013 in one of the most storied title reigns of the promotion’s history.

Silva (3-2, 2 KOs) has had three boxing matches in recent years. The Brazilian defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in 2021 by split decision and followed it up with a first-round knockout of ex-UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz later that year. Silva, however, was defeated by Jake Paul over eight rounds in his last in-ring appearance in October 2022.

Woodley (0-2), who held the UFC welterweight title from 2016 to 2019, had back-to-back fights with Paul in 2021. “The Chosen One” dropped a split decision to Paul in August of that year before being on the wrong end of a Knockout of the Year contender in their December rematch.

Harvey is putting a beatdown on Cervantes as a flurry of shots backs Cervantes up. Cervantes cannot deal with the speed of Harvey. Right uppercuts on the inside are lifting up Cervantes’ head. Harvey has outlanded 168-31 through six one-sided rounds. Harvey has worked his jab to the body excellently tonight. If Cervantes had come with more ambition, he would’ve created more openings for Harvey. Harvey will let his hands go in the final minute of this fight as Cervantes continues to absorb lightning-quick flurries. Tremendous showing from Harvey!

Two to go in this one. Harvey begins with a multitude of jabs. Hands down, Harvey is waiting for Cervantes to let his hands go so he can counter. Body shot from Harvey, and now he goes through the middle with an uppercut. Harvey is more loose in this round, he’s in punching range with his hands down, relying on head movement and looking to counter Cervantes. Nice right-hand connects for Harvey and he shoe-shines afterward.

Brilliant uppercut counter from Harvey, and Cervantes is forced to back up again. Right hand breaks the guard from Cervantes. Harvey outlanded Cervantes 23-1 in Round 1.

Right hand attempted from Cervantes, which Harvey counters with a left uppercut. Nice left-hand backs Cervantes up late in the first minute. Harvey is controlling proceedings with his jab and sharp shots. He’s also doing a great job of giving Cervantes different looks without wasting too much. Right hook knocks the head back of Cervantes in the final minute. Impressive stuff from Harvey!

1-0 vs. 5-0 to open the main card — Let’s do this!

Harvey opens with a stiff jab. Now a combination, but it misses. Harvey goes back to his rapid left hand. It’s Cervantes on the front foot, and Harvey is looking to walk him onto shots. Nice flurry of shots to the body. Another fast combo from Harvey. Power shots from Harvey plant onto Cervantes’ face. Harvey switches to southpaw early in the second minute. DOWN GOES CERVANTES! It was a combination from Harvey at the 1:30 point, where the right hook and left hand were the damaging punches. Cervantes is now off balance as a right hook catches him. Dominant round.

“I don’t even think he knows how to do this, but I would smother AJ. AJ can’t fight on the inside at all, at all, he has no inside game whatsoever. And that’s why Usyk was catching him at ease.

“It’s either I’m going to be outside the realm of getting hit, which is moving around the ring, not staying in front of Anthony at any moment, or I’m going to smother Anthony Joshua and hopefully catch him, either inside, or when once he smothers, then he tries to shoot a shot, then you catch him.” [Covers.com]
