Marian Patricia Brosha, 71,
Antigonish

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden
passing of Marian Patricia Brosha of Summerside Road, Heatherton. She
leaves behind a life marked by love, faith, and music. Born on
November 10, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Mabel (MacDonald)
and Arthur Brosha.

Marian was the twelfth of thirteen children, raised on
the family farm surrounded by a large, lively family filled with love,
laughter, and strong bonds. Throughout her life, Marian faced many
struggles, including mental health challenges, but she was deeply
loved and supported by her daughter, Shannon; her son, Dennis (Yvonne
Salter) and her former husband and lifelong friend, Kenny (Pat) Boyle.
Her circle of friends was small but steadfast, and the family extends
heartfelt gratitude to those who showed respect and support over the
years.

An avid reader, highly intelligent, and gifted
organ/piano player, Marian shared her musical talents generously,
performing at many friends’ weddings and often playing at
home, where music brought her comfort and joy. She was a devoted and
faithful person, praying daily for her family and grandchildren. She
was a loving caregiver to many of her close family members over the
years. Marian was also an animal lover and adored her cat, Sammy, who
brought her much happiness.

Besides her daughter and son, Marian is survived by
her loving siblings: Lorraine (Gordon) Schofield, Genevieve (late
Phillip) Marcil, John (June) Brosha, Arthur (Lorraine) Brosha,
Sylvester (Bunny) Brosha, Beverly (late Bernie) Gilfoy, Claire (Joe)
MacDonnell, and Noella (Brenda) Brosha. She is also survived by her
loving in-laws: Jeanette Brosha, Rod Dove, and Eleanor Brosha. Marian
will be fondly remembered by her many special nieces and
nephews.

Marian was predeceased by her parents, Mabel
(MacDonald) and Arthur Brosha, as well as her siblings Mary (late
Eugene) Walsh, Louis Brosha, Carroll Brosha, and Rita Dove, as well as
her niece Audrey Brosha.

She is lovingly remembered by her five cherished
grandchildren: Cameron, Beaton, MaryKate, Lauchie, and
Blake.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A Funeral
Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Heatherton on
Saturday, December 27, at 11:00 am., Reverend Dennis Lamey presiding.
A private family burial will take place at a later
date.

We would like to thank all the doctors and nursing
staff at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital and the QEII
hospital for their service and compassion.

Donations in memory of Marian may be made to the Heart
& Stroke Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Funeral
arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home,
