From gripping mysteries to thought-provoking fiction, the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is offering something for every reader with upcoming series of monthly book club meetings

Make plans to join a book club this winter. The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library is hosting three book clubs running from February to May 2026.

Two sessions of ‘The Tuesday Book Club’ will meet on the third Tuesday of each month. (Morning session from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon session from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Book Club A – Morning Session: The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Theory of Crows by David Alexander Robertson

March 17


Book Club A – Morning Session: James by Percival Everett
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon

April 21


Book Club A – Morning Session: The Theory of Crows by David Alexander Robertson
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson

The Mystery and Suspense Book Club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Mystery Book Club Meeting Dates: 

Feb. 11 – The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

March 11 – The Whispers by Ashley Audrain

April 8 – Francie’s Got a Gun by Carrie Snyder

May 13 – Heartwood by Amity Gaige

Registration for all book clubs will be available online starting Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at 9 a.m. Cost is $25 per person. You must have an active Sault Ste. Marie Public Library card in order to participate.
