Year after year, students, staff, and families at École Notre-Dame-du-Sault demonstrate their generosity by participating in the school’s “Noël Portage” campaign, an initiative aimed at supporting local families in need.

During this Advent season, students from both elementary and secondary levels came together to fill a canoe with non-perishable food items, clothing and gently used or new toys.

Launched nearly 20 years ago, this tradition has once again proven its impact, with the school collecting multiple boxes of food, clothing and toys. All donations will be delivered to the Christmas Cheer Foundation, helping ensure that families in the community can enjoy a warmer, more joyful holiday season.

This annual initiative not only provides tangible support but also encourages students to live out their Catholic values, fostering solidarity and a strong sense of community spirit.

“This is a wonderful example of how our students live out their Catholic values,” said Ms. Anne Marineau, Principal of École Notre-Dame-du-Sault.

“Their generosity and commitment to helping others remind us of the true meaning of the season—community, compassion, and hope.”
