Representative John Dinn admits that the holidays can be very overwhelming for some.
Dinn encourages people to pick out what’s important to them and to skip the things that aren’t.
He says it is ok for people to say no to activities and events, to set limits a budgets so people aren’t overextending themselves, and to “embrace imperfections and set realistic expectations.”
“The holiday season is really about feels, so make that time for you. It’s really about sharing, kindness, and taking time to spend with family and friends. So make sure you keep that as a priority and something you want to focus on.”
