When asked about his dream signing for Manchester United, Paul Scholes claimed that he would love the Red Devils to have a player like Arsenal’s Declan Rice.
Arsenal have several players who could have also been picked, including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Bukayo Saka, but Scholes has named Rice.
This season, Rice has been one of the best Premier League players, having taken his game to a whole different level.

Rice has also become a real leader for Arsenal, which adds to his importance to Mikel Arteta’s team at the Emirates Stadium.
That is why the 26-year-old is considered one of the top players in world football right now, and also the reason why Scholes would love to have a player like him at Old Trafford.
Paul Scholes would love Man United to sign a player like Declan Rice
Paul Scholes has admitted that he would love Manchester United to sign a player like Declan Rice, and Nicky Butt has also expressed a similar sentiment.
The midfielder has become one of the best in the world in his position this season, with Wayne Rooney also praising Rice’s performances.
Right now, the former West Ham United captain would make most teams in world football, and Scholes has said he would love someone like him at United.
When asked about his dream signing for Man United, Scholes told The Good, The Bad & The Football: “Yeah, not a dream, but something I think they need is probably a Declan Rice.”

“Yeah, that’s what I was going to say, Declan Rice,” Butt added.
The midfielder has been simply outstanding in North London this season and is surely a strong contender for the Premier League Player of the Season award.
Jamie Carragher picks Granit Xhaka and Declan Rice over Moises Caciedo
Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher has named Granit Xhaka and Rice ahead of Moises Caicedo in his Premier League Team of the Season so far.
Speaking about his midfield picks, Carragher told Sky Sports: “So, I’ve gone with Xhaka and Rice in there. I mean, the other one to put in was Caicedo, and that was a really tough one.
“I didn’t want to put all three because I think they’re almost all defensive, but I want to put an attacking midfield player in there. I’ve obviously got Bruno Fernandes.
“I’ve said I think Declan Rice just has the edge on Caicedo. But I just felt the impact of Xhaka this season for me is the biggest impact of a signing or effect on a team, if you like.”
