“So I was like, let’s do that. Plus, it’s all the snow we could get.”

The finished ice sculptures are the work of Fraser and his three daughters.
“It originated from that idea of getting off the screens, getting away from the TV, getting outside, and just having fun,” he said.
With a lack of snow early on, the family project this year was a bit more challenging and took about a week to complete. Fraser explained that you of course need snow, but also the right temperature to mould it.
Proudly sitting beside the sculptures, the three young daughters are beaming from ear to ear. They acknowledge they love it when passing vehicles slow down to check out the sculptures.
“It makes me feel happy,” Emma said.
