PALM BEACH, Fla. — Tennis star Venus Williams, 45, announced Tuesday on social media that she has married actor and model Andrea Preti.

The wedding was part of a five-day celebration in Palm Beach, Florida.

Williams and Preti became a couple in 2024 and got engaged in early 2025. The couple first held a ceremony in Italy in September but were unable to complete the legal paperwork there, so they planned a second wedding in the United States.

The Florida celebration included several events with family and friends before the official ceremony. Venus thanked Preti for his support during her recent tennis matches, including when she became one of the oldest women to win a WTA singles match in July.

Preti is a Danish-born Italian model and actor and he has worked in television and film. Williams has been a top tennis player for many years and plans to continue playing, with a new season starting in January.

Friends and family gathered for the celebrations, which included dinners, parties and special moments before the pair exchanged vows. Williams shared photos on social media and described the weekend as a joyful time with loved ones.
