A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a Costco parking lot in Mississauga.

A pedestrian and a driver were taken to the hospital following a collision in a Costco parking lot in Mississauga on Tuesday.

The crash happened at the store at 3180 Laird Rd., which is north of Dundas Street West and west of Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to that area after receiving reports of a pedestrian who had been struck.

“At this time the injuries appear to be minor, both the pedestrian and driver were transported to a local hospital. The cause of the crash is still under investigation,” they told CTV News Toronto.

The age and gender of the two people injured in the collision is not known at this time.
