Two people have been rushed to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries following a single-vehicle crash in North York, paramedics say.
The collision happened near Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
Toronto police said they were called to that area just before 7:30 p.m. for reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Investigators say a motorist struck a pole on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT track.
The occupants of that vehicle, they say, were initially trapped.
Currently, Eglinton is shut down from Leslie Street to Don Mills as police investigate.
