The venue will be added for free in January 2026.

Portland International Raceway will be added to the NASCAR 25 game.

Published by iRacing, the PC and console game curiously released without a full track roster, considering it is an official game aiming to replicate the 2025 season.

Among the missing venues was the Oregon venue, used for series such as IndyCar, and crucially, a standalone NASCAR Xfinity race – won this season by Connor Zilisch.

The venue was recently scanned and created for its main sibling simulation iRacing, releasing as optional DLC in March 2025.

The US company has ported tracks and assets from the serious platform into the more accessible NASCAR game, but Portland was an omission. That will change, with the free game update sometime in January.

While players won’t be able to drive it in career mode, sadly, it can be used in single-player Quick Race and online multiplayer contests.

Meanwhile, the existing Sonoma Raceway will be “completely refreshed with new racing surfaces and artwork.”

NASCAR 25 the game we’ve always wanted to make

The customisation of cars used online is said to have increased, including being able to select your race number.

No release date, other than a January 2026 window, has been provided, but the changes affect all platforms – PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
