Eva Longoria is ditching her bob era, just weeks after debuting her bold, shoulder-length haircut in November. In glam holiday photos shared on December 23, the Desperate Housewives alum’s recent chop was nowhere to be seen as she unveiled a Millennial-approved hair transformation in a plunging liquid sequin dress with a reflective sheen.
Wishing her 10.8 million followers happy holidays in an Instagram carousel posted on Tuesday, Longoria made a case for bringing back the polarizing Y2K-era “pouf” hairstyle with her latest appearance. In new photos from her beauty collaboration with L’Oreal Paris, the star showed off her long brunette locks, which went all the way to the middle of her back and appeared to be styled in an ‘80s-inspired texture with wet-inspired waves.
In addition to unveiling a longer length, Longoria clipped her hair back in a half-up style while teasing the crown into a pompadour—a signature look once achieved via “bumpit” by stars like Lindsay Lohan, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Beyoncé in the Noughties. In fact, the actress’s most beloved character, Gabrielle Solis, also sported the bouffant along with the era’s ubiquitous Juicy Couture tracksuits and going out tops in Desperate Housewives.

Longoria swapped out her signature beauty look, showing off a bold red lipstick complemented with a sunset-inspired matte eyeshadow. Framing the monochromatic look with feathery eyelashes and black eyeliner, the star also showed off sculpted cheekbones accentuated with a peachy blush.
