Toronto police have identified a woman who was struck by a car last Friday near Yorkville.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m., when officers responded to a call about a pedestrian struck near Avenue Rd. and Yorkville Ave.
A Chrysler driving northbound had hit the female pedestrian, who was riding in a wheelchair that was in the curb lane of Avenue Rd.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chrysler stayed at the scene.
On Wednesday, police reached out to the public for help identifying the victim.
