Senior Men’s News
On July 8, the weather wasn’t so great but we still had a decent number of players show up for Senior Men’s day. In the A-fight, Bruce Towner won First Low Gross with a score of 41, while Dave Crossett took Second Low Gross, only one shot behind Towner with a 42. Lorne Lazenby won First Low Net with a net score of 33, followed by Mike O’Donohue with a net 34. Mike Pitzen won the Closest to the Pin competition on the fifth hole and Bruce Towner sunk the Longest Putt on #7.

Men’s Golf News
In Men’s golf action on July 10, Travis Aiken had the low round of the day and won First Low Gross in the A-flight with a fine round of 39. He nipped out Bob Shields who scored 40 and won Second Low Gross in the flight. Gord Wright won First Low Net with a net 33, one stroke ahead of Jim Martin with a net 34, taking Second Low Net in A-flight. In the B-flight, Gord Moore continued his great play, shooting 41 on the front nine holes and winning First Low Gross in the flight. Mike O’Donohue won Second Low Gross with a score of 45. Dave Ezechiels and Dave Lemire tied for First Low Net with net scores of 35. Colin Wisniewski was Closest to the Pin on the fifth hole and Bill O’Rourke sunk the Longest Putt on #7.

Ladies Golf News
In Ladies golf action on July 9, Erica Page won First Low Gross with a fine round of 44, Barb Thomson took First Low Net with a sizzling net score of five under par 30, while Connie Maksymyk and Carol Puncher tied for Second Low Net with net scores of 33. Jo Chisholm was Closest to the Bucket on the first hole and Sarah Wright sunk the Longest Putt on hole #2.
FEDEX News
Gord Moore has moved into first place in the FEDEX competition, earning 350 points this week with a net score of 32 for a point total of 990. Lorne Lazenby is in Second Place with 970 total points having earned 335 points this week with a net 33. Dave Ezechiels sits in third spot, having earned 280 points for his net score of 35. Gord Wright and Dave Crossett are in fourth and fifth place respectively.
