Justin Trudeau was one of many faces in the crowd at Katy Perry’s sold out “Lifetimes” tour stop in Montreal on July 30.The former Canadian Prime Minister’s attendance at the show came 48 hours after he and the entertainer had dinner, drinks, and a stroll in the park on July 28—igniting romance rumors.Perry officially announced the end of her engagement from Orlando Bloom less than a month ago.

Just 48 hours after their dinner and stroll in the park set the internet ablaze with relationship rumors, Justin Trudeau turned up in the crowd on July 30 to watch Katy Perry perform as part of her “Lifetimes” tour.

Buzz about Trudeau and Perry as a possible couple comes just one month after Perry’s split from ex Orlando Bloom became public after nine years together, and just shy of two years after Trudeau split from Sophie Grégoire after 18 years of marriage.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau was one of many at Perry’s sold out show on Wednesday at Montreal’s Bell Centre—but few attracted more attention than he did. His appearance at her show—casually dressed in a black T-shirt—comes after his dinner date with Perry on July 28, where the two dined at Le Violon. That same day, the two also took a small dog on a walk in Mount Royal Park in Montreal.

A representative for Le Violon told People that Trudeau and Perry “seemed to have had a fantastic evening,” adding that the two met with Chef Danny Smiles and went to the kitchen after the meal to thank the staff personally.

“They were super kind and friendly to the staff, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them at the restaurant,” the representative added. (The two apparently enjoyed cocktails and a handful of dishes, including one that featured lobster.)

After dinner, TMZ reported that Trudeau and Perry grabbed drinks at Taverne Atlantic—a nightcap on a busy day together.

Per Page Six, Trudeau and Perry have reportedly been in contact “for weeks” after meeting at an unspecified event and bonding over their shared interests about “making the world a better place.”

Though breakup rumors swirled around Bloom and Perry in June, on July 3 the former couple confirmed the end of their engagement, saying in a joint statement that they had been “shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.” (Bloom and Perry’s daughter, Daisy Dove, will turn 5 years old in August.)

“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect,” the statement continued.

Trudeau, for his part, shares three children—Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11—with Grégoire.

And Trudeau wasn’t the only intriguing face in the crowd at Perry’s ongoing “Lifetimes” tour—Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares 14-year-old son Flynn, also caught the tour this week as it continues its run. Perry’s next show is in Quebec City on August 1 before the tour wraps in December.
