Back in the ‘90s, her curls, then red, were her signature look, but these days, she’s better known for sleek, smooth blonde locks. However, in a new rare photo taken at home, Kidman showed off her ringlets while marking her daughter Faith’s 15th birthday on December 28.

The actress, who shared the photo on her Instagram Stories, wore her curly hair down around her shoulders, pushed back from her face with a “Happy Birthday” headband. She paired the romantic ‘do with a boho sheer white blouse or dress with long sleeves and retro striped detailing around the high neckline.
In the photo, she held Faith’s birthday cake as she stood in front of balloons. “Happy 15th birthday baby!” She wrote across the image.

Kidman’s iconic curls enjoyed another moment in the spotlight recently when Kidman wore her natural hair for a Christmas Eve party in Sydney with Faith and her older daughter, Sunday, 17. Back in October, Kidman shared a behind-the-scenes photo from Vogue World. Although she rocked an old Hollywood hair look for the show, earlier in the day, she sported a casual curly messy bun. The curls made yet another appearance in an August Instagram video featuring moments with her family at home.

Kidman has reportedly been spending the holiday season with her daughters following her split their father and her husband of nearly 20 years Keith Urban earlier this year. In a People story published on December 25, a source said, “Nicole and the girls are in Australia for Christmas. This is all she wanted after a tumultuous fall. She just wanted to celebrate Christmas at home. She’s very excited.”
