She followed with another message, “Working, paying the bills, being a present mother and battling through a lot of unknowns… God’s strongest soldier 2025.”Diggins and Daniel Smith married in April 2017 after meeting at Notre Dame. They share two children. Reports earlier this year confirmed that Diggins filed for divorce in March, with the separation dating back to November 2024. She had previously signaled the change publicly when she asked reporters to refer to her without Smith’s last name during a press conference.Despite the personal turmoil, Diggins posted strong numbers for Seattle this season, averaging 15.5 points and six assists per game.
