HILO, Hawaii (Island News) — Registration is now open for East Hawaiʻi Junior NBA and WNBA basketball, giving young athletes a chance to hit the court this spring.
The program includes Novice Boys and Open Co-Ed divisions for players ages 8 to 14, with the season running from Feb. 23, 2026 through May 14, 2026.

The cost is $30 per player, which includes an official NBA or WNBA reversible replica jersey. Coaches also have the option to register a full team for $160, while individual players can sign up and be placed on a team.
A mandatory coaches and team representatives meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Jan. 13 at Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Lūʻau Hale in Hilo.
