Paige Bueckers impressed in her rookie WNBA season, although her team couldn’t achieve too much. The young superstar has a lot of expectations to meet. That means working on her game and continually getting better. And Bueckers is focused on improving this offseason.

I asked Paige Bueckers what she wants to add to her game this offseason 🏀🧠:
“I want to work on my left hand… get to the free throw line more, so lowkey a little foul bait, but also the Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander] shoulder bump into my midrange pull up” pic.twitter.com/77BjK4cMzN

“I wanna work on my left hand more, and I wanna get to the free throw line more,” Bueckers said. “So lowkey like, a little foul bait. But also, I wanna get the bump, the Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander) shoulder bump into my midrange pull-up.”
It seems that Bueckers has been inspired by the reigning NBA MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Canadian superstar is known for his smooth midrange and also for his ability to draw contact and get to the free-throw line. Adding these things to her arsenal will definitely make Bueckers a more productive superstar.

Her play in Unrivaled will be closely scrutinized, as there is a lot of hype around Bueckers’ young career already. Expectations will be through the roof in her sophomore WNBA season, so Paige has to continue improving this offseason.
