It’s new kit day down under!

GreenEDGE Cycling has released the kit it will use for the 2026 season. Once again, the team will partner with its partnership with Melbourne-based apparel company MAAP for a second year. The kit will be worn by the men’s and women’s WorldTour teams, Jayco–AlUla, Liv AlUla Jayco as well as the feeder team, Hagens Berman Jayco.

The design keeps the same colour scheme introduced in 2025, with some minor pattern changes. The gear will first be used at the Tour Down Under in January, which is the opening WorldTour event of the year and an important home race for both teams.

Nadia Gontova joins WorldTour

In August, Liv AlUla Jayco announced a new signing: Richmond, B.C.’s Nadia Gontova. The 25-year-old had an impressive 2025 riding for ProTeam Winspace Orange Seal. She took 10th on the super tough final stage at the Tour de France Femmes. Stage 9 from Praz-sur-Arly to Châtel Les Portes du Soleil (124.1 km) featured all sorts of climbs, which Gontova excels on.

Gontova also finished second overall at the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées, just missing out on a win on the second stage. She’s also solid when it comes to time trials. At the Canadian national TT championships, she placed third.

“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to join Liv AlUla Jayco. I’m looking forward to racing a WorldTour calendar, surrounded by such a strong team that will help me progress as a rider. Over the past few seasons, I’ve taken a lot of big steps. Starting with working my way up the ranks in North American racing and then coming over to Europe in 2025,” she said. “This year was full of firsts for me, getting to do some of the biggest races. I learned so much, and achieved results that I am proud of along the way. My goal is to keep building consistency, take opportunities when they come, and help the team achieve strong results.”

Gontova is set to ride for the team for the next two years.
