Eight Big12 Tennis programs, four men’s and four women’s, are ranked in the 2026 ITA Preseason Tennis Poll.

The TCU men’s team earned the No. 3 spot after finished the 2025  campaign as the national runner-up. The Horned Frogs start their fifth consecutive season ranked inside the top five of the ITA poll. Arizona was tabbed as No. 11, after finishing its inaugural season as the 2025 Big 12 Men’s Tennis tournament champion and advancing to the third round of the NCAA Men’s Tennis National Championship. UCF and Baylor round out the league’s teams, coming in at No. 14 and No.16, respectively. Both teams earned postseason nods in 2025, as the Knights competed in the third round and the Bears advanced to the second round.

After topping the Big 12 Women’s Tennis Preseason Coaches’ Poll, Oklahoma State led the way for the Conference’s women’s programs, coming in at the No. 10 spot. The Cowgirls finished last season with their sixth appearance in program history in the quarterfinal round of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Tennis National Championship and a share of the regular-season Big 12 title. Texas Tech was slated in the No. 20 spot after winning a share of the regular season title as well as the 2025 Big 12 Women’s Tennis Championship. UCF and Baylor were tabbed as No. 24 and No. 25, respectively, after both programs received a postseason bid last year.
