With a new set of very bright and eye-catching team kit designs, Norco Race Division certainly wasn’t looking to hide on the 2025 World Cup circuit. It would turn out that Gracey Hemstreet kept the spotlight on the team all season long, so they would have been noticed no matter what they were wearing. But with the bold, geometric and bright colours, there was no looking away.
We’re all for bold kit designs. But if you want some more detail about what exactly was going on with Norco Race Division’s very busy kit, worry not. Designer for the 2025 season, Nicole Hall, joined the Norco team to talk through the look in detail.
In Norco’s words, Hall “Set out to push that energy even further, moving beyond a simple refresh to create an entirely new visual universe.”
And there is a lot of detail in that universe. Every athlete on the team had their own colours. Further, each athlete had their own unique pattern on their kit.
The whole team, while distinctive for each athlete, had a unifying theme. Norco says Hall was inspired by modern architecture, but also “raw, and finished off with a ‘sticker-slap’ aesthetic that carries over the 80’s motto energy of the team’s inaugural year.”
What’s left to say after all that? Not much. But the video goes into great detail, for the fashion and design inclined. All that’s left to do now is to see what Hall and Norco come up with for 2026!
