The 2026 boxing season is in full affect, with Amanda Serrano and Holly Holm in action last week, and Subriel Matias and Dalton Smith ready to tango this Saturday night (Jan. 10, 2025) in Brooklyn. Now, a couple of rising contenders are set for their first taste of action of the new year.

Per a recent report by The Ring, 19 year-old phenom, Curmel Moton, is set to make his return to action on Feb. 28 on a card promoted by none other than boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao, which is set to go down inside Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, against an opponent to be named at a later date. Moton is one of the most exciting rising contenders in the game and is off to an 8-0 record with six knockouts.

Also set to make his return to action against a foe that will also be named at a later date is none other than “Pacman’s” son, Jimuel Pacquiao (24), who is set for his second pro fight after fighting to a majority draw against Brendan Lally in a lightweight bout. Now, Pacquiao will look for a better outing in his sophomore effort.

Headlining the event will be headlined by a Elijah Pierce (21-2), who will be defending his WBO International featherweight title against Lorenzo Parra (23-1-1). The two men were originally set to throw down last November before pierce withdrew with an injury.
