No doubt discussions around next season’s rules changes will be high on the priority list.

You’d also have to think that teams will talk about their rosters. Those discussions could lead to something big, according to SportsCage’s Arash Madani, who had an interesting prediction.

“I think this is the year the Winnipeg Blue Bombers roster completely just falls off the cliff. They are long in the tooth. It’s not working. It hasn’t worked. I think this is when it all falls apart. This is where I think the move occurs. There is a scenario I can foresee where Chad Kelly, by Labour Day, is in Ottawa and Zach Collaros is in Toronto.”

“Chad Kelly, this season, would not surprise me if he ends up playing at some point with his old coach, Ryan Dinwiddie, and the Argos end up going against Zach Collaros. Ottawa would give up a lot of draft capital. Think about what Jim Barker said when he came in. I’ve inherited a mess. We don’t have an offensive line. Blah, blah, blah. And Collaros, who lives in suburban Toronto in the offseason, comes here. It’s a lot of moving parts. Hey, what the hell? Let’s throw that out there as a prediction.”
