Sophie Cunningham had a memorable season with the Indiana Fever. In 30 games, the 6-foot-1 guard averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.7 3-pointers and 25.2 minutes per contest.
Cunningham’s campaign was cut short by a season-ending knee injury. The 29-year-old tore the MCL in her right knee in August, forcing her to miss the latter part of the season.

Cunningham’s deal with the Fever was for one year, meaning she is a free agent this offseason. The Fever will need to re-sign her to a new contract if they want to keep her in Indiana for the 2026 season.

On Monday, Cunningham attended a game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever’s home court. The former Missouri Tiger star watched the Indiana Pacers take on the Boston Celtics. Cunningham has attended Pacers games in the past. She has formed a friendship with Jade Jones, the girlfriend of Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, and they were sitting together for Monday’s game.
