Jimmy Butler marches to the beat of his own drum, particularly in the appearance department.

This is the guy who has shown up to media day throughout the years with wildly different hairstyles and other quirky aspects to his appearance.
But generally, he’s had a pretty similar look on the floor throughout his NBA playing career, from the Chicago Bulls to the Miami Heat and now to the Golden State Warriors.
Butler has changed things up now, though.

The replies vary wildly.
One says, “I love it.”
Another, begrudgingly, “As long as we’re winning.”
A third: “Whitney Houston, is that you?”

And multiple Warriors fans are comparing him to Golden State guard Brandin Podziemski, who has a hairstyle not dissimilar to that.
The Warriors won Tuesday night as Butler debuted this haircut, a 22-point romp of the Trail Blazers, so maybe it works.

Butler himself had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists on 5-for-7 shooting while making all five of his foul shots, 1-for-2 from 3 and not turning the ball over.
No chance he changes the look after an efficient, comfortable game like that.
