Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is questionable with an oblique injury for Saturday’s divisional game against the San Francisco 49ers. Darnold told reporters on Thursday that he expects to play on Saturday.
He has started all 17 games for the Seahawks this season, and the team is coming off a first-round bye. If Darnold is unable to play, Drew Lock is expected to start at quarterback.

On the other side of the matchup, the 49ers did not activate linebacker Fred Warner from injured reserve. Warner has been sidelined since Week 6 after dislocating his ankle. The 49ers still hope to get him back next week if the team advances to the NFC Championship Game.
New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez is one step closer to clearing concussion protocol ahead of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Gonzalez was no longer wearing a red non-contact jersey and fully participated in practice on Thursday after being limited during Wednesday night’s session.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was also a full participant in practice, despite dealing with multiple injuries this week.
Meanwhile, Texans wide receiver Nico Collins remains in concussion protocol after suffering the injury during Monday’s wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has been added to the injury report with an oblique issue that makes him “questionable” for Saturday’s divisional-round playoff game versus the San Francisco 49ers, but he told reporters Thursday that he still expects to play.
He was asked what percent of him thinks he might not play against the 49ers this weekend at Seattle’s Lumen Field.
“Very low percentage,” he said. “Probably closer to zero.”

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins remains in concussion protocol and missed Thursday’s media session, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Alexander.
Collins is unlikely to play in Sunday’s divisional round game against the New England Patriots because of the steps needed to clear concussion protocol.
Collins suffered the concussion in Monday’s wild-card 30-6 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Collins had 3 catches for 21 yards in the game before going down.
If Collins cannot go, expect Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins, and Dalton Schultz to see an increase in targets. Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson and Cade Stover could also see an increased role.

Warner has been out since Week after breaking and dislocating his ankle. The four-time first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler could return to the 49ers’ lineup if the team advances to the NFC Championship Game.
“I’m ready whenever they’re ready. You know what I’m saying?” Warner said last week on “The Ryen Russillo Show.” There’s some Ts that got to be crossed, Is that got to be dotted. If it were just up to me, I’d be out there this weekend, but it’s unfortunately not that way. I got to make sure I’m checking all the boxes and everybody has to get me the OK before they let me go out there.
“But I’m pushing, man. I’m training hard. I’m back doing full football drills and everything, so time will tell. We got to pull the win out first.”
