Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport returns to the heartland this weekend as the NASCAR Xfinity Series storms into Iowa Speedway for a Saturday afternoon battle in the Hyvee Perks 250. The 0.875-mile D-shaped oval will be the site of intense short-track action as the team fields two full-time entries: Jeb Burton driving the No. 27 State Water Heaters Chevrolet & Blaine Perkins in the No. 31 FVP Chevrolet.
Jeb Burton, returning to Iowa Speedway for the second straight year with Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport, is determined to build on last season’s performance, where he brought home a 24th-place finish in his first Xfinity Series start at the speedway. With 3 career NASCAR Camping World Truck starts at Iowa, Burton has shown consistency, collecting multiple top-15 finishes. The veteran driver of the No. 27 brings a wealth of experience and a tenacious racing style that could prove critical in Saturday’s high-intensity short-track contest.
Piloting the No. 31 FVP Chevrolet this weekend, Blaine Perkins returns to Iowa Speedway looking to improve on his performance from last season, where he was involved in an accident on Lap-86 and would be scored 35th. Perkins has made two ARCA West Series starts at the speedway capturing a best of 7th. The short-track layout offers a valuable opportunity for Perkins to showcase the progress he’s made throughout the 2025 campaign. Known for his adaptability and smooth driving style, the California native is focused on leveraging his growing experience in the NASCAR Xfinity Series to break into the top-20 — and beyond — on Saturday afternoon.
On-track action kicks off with practice and qualifying on Saturday, August 3, beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT on the CW App, with drivers battling for their starting positions just hours before the race. The green flag for the Hy-Vee Perks 250 is scheduled to drop at 4:30 p.m. CT, live on CW Network (check your local listing for exact channel), and featured on MRN Radio.
Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport enters the Iowa weekend focused on execution, adaptability, and maximizing results on a track. The team is looking to capitalize on its continued momentum and return to the top-15 with both entries.
