Basketball fans tuning into the January 21 episode of Chicago Med will see Chicago Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot bring her talents to Gaffney Chicago Medical Center in Season 11, Episode 10’s “Frost on Fire.”
The 36-year-old has been a WNBA mainstay since 2011 and has amassed countless accolades, but can any on-court accomplishment prepare her for her first-ever acting role? Fans can’t wait to see how Vandersloot fares alongside some of One Chicago’s favorites.
The episode’s official description offers a hint of what to expect:
“Archer and Frost confront a troubling medical mystery while treating a college basketball player; Lenox’s treatment of a surrogate patient leads to unexpected complications for the patient and her best friend,” the logline reads.
